RomaniaFrumoasa.org is an independent online publication of long-form reporting and photo essays about Romania, operated by Digital Image SRL, Bucharest, Romania. By reading the site or using any of its tools you agree to these terms.
1. Reading the site
The site is free to read. You may share links to our articles freely. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the original article.
2. Copyright
Texts and photographs are protected by copyright and belong to their authors and to RomaniaFrumoasa.org, unless stated otherwise in the credit. Republishing whole articles or images requires our written permission.
3. The RomaniaFrumoasa CMS and social media tools
The editorial area (/admin) is used only by our own team. Its social media tools publish our own articles, photographs and videos to the accounts we own on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. When an editor connects one of these accounts, we store the access token the platform issues, encrypted, and use it only to publish the posts the editor explicitly confirms. Editors can disconnect an account at any time, which deletes the stored token.
We do not read, collect or analyse data about other users of these platforms. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Newsletter
You can subscribe to the newsletter and unsubscribe at any time with one click from any email you receive.
5. Accuracy and liability
We verify our reporting carefully and correct errors when we find them. The content is provided for information; we are not liable for decisions taken solely on its basis. Links to other websites are offered for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
6. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page. These terms are governed by Romanian law.
